Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives

The Community Development Program (CDP) is a government-led initiative dedicated to addressing critical needs in underserved communities. By facilitating sustainable projects in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and access to clean water, CDP ensures that communities thrive and prosper.

We aim to bridge the gap between government resources and community needs, empowering people with the tools to improve their quality of life..

What is CDP?

The Katsina State Community Development Programme (KSCDP) is a visionary initiative launched by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda. This transformative program is designed to reduce ungoverned spaces across the state by addressing gaps in infrastructure, education, and social welfare.

Objectives:

  • Enhance social cohesion and unity among communities.
  • Improve access to basic services, including healthcare and education.
  • Empower the economy through small business support and vocational training.
  • Promote gender equality and leadership opportunities for women.
  • Establish robust governance with community-driven decision-making.
  • Enhance infrastructure and Accessibility.
  • Address social and economic inequities.
  • Increase participation and development in governance.
  • Promote peace building and conflict resolution.
  • Environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

We believe in a participatory approach, where communities play an active role in shaping their development journey.
